Gratitude(noun) : the quality or feeling of being grateful or thankful
When a favor is given to us, we, Filipinos tend to give a favor in return but only in a different manner. It's in our blood streams having utang na loob. Is our "thank you" not enough?
I've seen a movie back when I was in elementary and I can still remember it now. It is entitled "Pat it forward". I barely remember who are the actors. But the story is all about a boy that iwas given a favor by a person yet, instead of giving it back, he gave or returened the favor to somebody else. He did "pay it forward".
There is no way a person can stop it unless something happened between them, for utang na loob (gratitude) is an endless cycle that rarely people can control.
